The story of Barefoot Painter LLC began in 2016 when two friends found themselves at pivotal moments in their lives, both yearning for change. One friend was already immersed in the world of painting, presented with the opportunity to transition from a routine job to a thriving business. Despite uncertainty, she embraced the potential for a new direction. The other friend, discontent in a corporate role, stood at a crossroads, seeking a more fulfilling path. Little did they anticipate that a casual lunch conversation would lay the foundation for what Barefoot Painter LLC is today.

In 2016 Barefoot Painter became a partnership focused on residential paint contracting, tackling projects like living room ceilings, bathroom repaints, and bedroom upgrades. Evolving over time, our unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction propelled us into more substantial undertakings, including complete home repaints and exterior transformations.

Today, Barefoot Painter LLC stands proudly as a sole-owner business, boasting a growing team of highly trained, professional painters. While residential painting remains integral to our services, our expansion into commercial projects underscores our dedication to versatility and excellence.

At Barefoot Painter, we approach each task with unyielding dedication, ensuring our customers experience unparalleled satisfaction. Beyond providing a mere paint job, we are devoted to enriching the essence of both home and business spaces. At Barefoot Painter LLC, we're not just a family-owned business; we're a Family First Business. As the sole proprietor, Kathy Vacho leads with a commitment to family values, and this ethos extends to every aspect of our operation. In the summer, you might encounter various family members contributing to our projects. During the school months, Kathy's husband and eldest daughter actively participate in estimates, color consultations, and are hands-on at job sites when the brushes are in motion.

Our pride in being a family company goes beyond blood relations – it encompasses all our staff and their families, who hold integral roles as valued members of the Barefoot family. We believe that a strong family foundation translates into a strong business, fostering a culture of unity, dedication, and shared success.

Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Management, Kathy brings a unique blend of environmental consciousness, business management, and creativity to her role. Her love for painting extends beyond the business realm; it's a personal joy that infuses life and color into her surroundings. Outside the studio, Kathy's heart belongs to her family – her cherished kids and supportive husband. Nature beckons her with a call for adventure, whether it's through hunting and fishing or capturing the beauty of the outdoors through her camera lens. Kathy's multifaceted interests, coupled with her unwavering commitment to sustainability, define both her professional and personal ethos.
Dan Vacho / SALES & ESTIMATION MANAGER

Dan Vacho, the Operations Manager/Sales for Barefoot Painter LLC, brings a wealth of experience in team management, departmental oversight, and safety to his pivotal role. With a robust background in coordinating and leading teams, Dan ensures the seamless operation of projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety. Beyond the professional realm, Dan finds solace and joy in the great outdoors. An avid enthusiast of hunting and fishing, he appreciates the serenity of nature and often seeks adventure beyond the confines of the workplace. Meet Kyleigh Squires, our dedicated Color Consultant and Lead Painter at Barefoot Painter LLC. With a wealth of experience in color theory, design, and an in-depth knowledge of various paints and their applications, Kyleigh is the creative force behind our transformative projects. Her expertise not only brings life to spaces but also ensures that each stroke serves a purpose.
Kyleigh places a strong emphasis on team building, recognizing that a cohesive team is the cornerstone of successful projects. Customer service and delivering top-notch quality are non-negotiables for her. Outside of work, Kyleigh is an individual always eager to help others. Her love extends to her husband, Jared, and furry companions – her dogs – who share in her enthusiasm for life. IMAN PHILLIPS / SITE OPERATIONS MANAGER

Iman Phillips has been an integral part of Barefoot Painter LLC since her high school days, where she began as a helper. Over the years, she has worked her way up through a variety of part-time and full-time roles, gaining hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the company's operations. Her dedication and hard work have earned her the position of Site Operations Manager.
In this role, Iman is committed to maintaining the highest quality control standards on every project. She works closely with the crew to ensure they feel comfortable and confident in their roles, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. Her focus on excellence and teamwork guarantees a seamless experience for clients from start to finish. When not on-site, Iman enjoys crocheting which inspires her approach to creativity.
